Terms of service
These Terms govern your use of Anvesa and each booking you make. Read them with the cancellation policy shown for your booking, the operator’s listing, and the participation waiver.
1 · Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or confirming a booking, you agree to the version of these Terms shown at checkout. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. A parent or legal guardian must book and sign for a minor. If you book for a group, you confirm that you are authorised to provide the booking details, but each participant may still need to sign their own waiver.
2 · What Anvesa provides
Anvesa provides an e-commerce marketplace for discovery, booking, communications, payment facilitation, and refund administration. The named independent operator supplies and conducts the adventure. Anvesa remains responsible for its own marketplace services and obligations under applicable law.
3 · Independent operators
Operators are independent service providers, not Anvesa employees or agents. They control guides, equipment, transport they offer, route decisions, safety briefings, and on-ground operations. Verification labels reflect information and records reviewed by Anvesa; they are not a promise that an activity is risk-free or that circumstances cannot change.
4 · Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed only when the platform shows confirmation after successful payment. The checkout shows the total price, applicable taxes, selected add-ons, operator, departure, and cancellation policy. Payments and approved refunds are processed through Razorpay. You must provide accurate contact and participant information.
5 · Activity requirements
You must meet the age, health, weight, clothing, sobriety, and other requirements shown in the listing; disclose relevant safety information; arrive on time; and follow reasonable guide instructions. An operator may refuse or stop participation where reasonably necessary for safety or legal compliance. Any resulting refund is determined by the booking policy and applicable law.
6 · Changes, cancellations, and refunds
The cancellation policy displayed before payment and saved with your booking forms part of these Terms. We show the exact available refund before an eligible in-app cancellation is confirmed. Operator cancellations, material service failures, and other disruptions are handled under that policy and any rights that applicable law gives you.
7 · Accounts and communications
Keep your login details secure and tell us promptly about unauthorised use. We may send service messages needed for authentication, payment, safety, booking changes, and support. Marketing communications require a separate choice where required and can be withdrawn.
8 · Reviews, messages, and other content
Do not submit content that is unlawful, deceptive, abusive, privacy-invasive, unsafe, or infringes another person’s rights. You keep ownership of your content and give Anvesa a non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce, and display it only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and promote the marketplace. We may restrict or remove content where these Terms or law require it.
9 · Inherent adventure risks
Outdoor adventure activities involve inherent risks, including changing weather, terrain, water, equipment use, physical exertion, and acts of other participants. You must review the listing and participation waiver and make an informed decision. This acknowledgement does not waive statutory consumer rights or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10 · Anvesa’s responsibility
Anvesa is not the operator and is not responsible merely because an operator’s service is booked through the marketplace. Anvesa remains responsible for loss directly caused by its own breach, negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct, or other liability that law does not permit it to exclude. To the extent permitted by law, Anvesa is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable.
11 · Events outside reasonable control
Weather, river conditions, road closures, government orders, emergencies, and similar events may require delays, route changes, or cancellation. Anvesa and the operator will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes. Rebooking and refund consequences follow the saved booking policy and applicable law.
12 · Suspension and changes
We may restrict an account or booking where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, safety, non-payment, or legal requirements. We may update these Terms prospectively and will identify the new version. A later update does not replace the Terms or cancellation policy already saved for an existing booking unless law requires it or you expressly agree.
13 · Disputes and governing law
Indian law governs these Terms. Contact Anvesa support first so we can try to resolve the issue. Nothing here prevents a consumer from using a consumer commission or court that has jurisdiction. Mediation or arbitration may be used only where the parties validly agree to it in writing; these Terms do not remove non-waivable remedies.
14 · Contact and grievances
Legal business name: Anvesa · sole proprietorship. Principal address: Opposite Rafting Center, Pirdi, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. Customer care: +91 89882 18074 · adminfunctions@anvesa.in. Grievance officer: Uddhav Bhardwaj, Founder · +91 89882 18074 · adminfunctions@anvesa.in. Contact support through the app or these details; complaints are acknowledged and handled within the timelines required by applicable law. Each listing must also display the operator’s legally required seller and grievance details.
Draft for Indian counsel review before bookings go live.
